f90SQL-Pro Overview and Features

f90SQL-Pro is our production-quality library. It gives you access to all the functionality that your database exposes through its ODBC interface, including all the extensions (Core, Level 1 and Level 2 functions).

In addition to the functionality offered by f90SQL-lite, with f90SQL-Pro your programs can bind parameters to SQL queries in real time, retrieve information about data sources, install new data sources on the flight, use extended data fetch functions and much more. f90SQL-Pro has been hand-coded for maximum performance, and it has a very small memory footprint.

Starting with ver. 2.0, f90SQL-Pro also includes the f90SQL-Wizard, a set of utilities that simplify developing f90SQL based applications. The wizard includes a Database explorer that you can use to explore your ODBC sources and table structures; a SQL editor, that can check and execute your queries; a Query Assistant, for creating queries using a GUI; and a Module Wizard, which accepts your query as input and generates a Data Access Module that takes care of all the details of accessing your query's result set.
