F90SQL-Wizard: RAD for f90SQL/Fortran Applications
The f90SQL Wizard is a set of utilities designed to help Fortran programmers with the use of Canaima Software's f90SQL library. The wizard includes four main components:
A tool to browse the content and structure of databases that have been registered as Data Source Names (DSN) with the ODBC Administrator
A utility to write, test and review the results of SQL queries. Once you have written and tested a query, you can save it to a text file for later use by the SQL Editor, or you can pass it to the Module Wizard to generate a Data Access Module for the query.
A tool that offers a graphical user interface to develop simple SELECT queries. The interface in the Query Assistant allows users to select tables and fields as well as to establish relationships between the tables in the query. Once you have designed a query, you can test, execute and/or review the SQL statement generated by the Query Assistant.
The main component of the utilities included in the f90SQL Wizard. The Module Wizard generates Fortran modules that make executing and retrieving queries from your Fortran program as simple as writing a few lines of code (about 15, in fact).
